The printhead is a critical component of your thermal printer that directly affects print quality, they are also very delicate. Normal printer use results in residue of ink, paper and/or ribbon dust, and in some cases adhesive, to build up on the printhead. Due to the delicate nature of printheads, to avoid costly damage, it’s important to follow correct cleaning procedures.
