Returns, Refunds and Order Cancellation Policy

We, us, our and similar expressions, refer to Wedderburn Scales Limited. You, and similar expressions, refer to you, our proposed customer.

Returns Policy

No goods may be returned to us without our prior written approval including a Return Maintenance Authority (RMA) Approval Number. Once RMA approval is obtained and subject to our terms and conditions, you will be issued with a RMA Approval Number and you can return the goods. Return freight is at your cost.

Prior to a refund, replacement or repair; the goods will be inspected by us to determine if any repacking, repair or additional freight costs will apply.

Products purchased from us and Under Warranty* (you must be able to supply original invoice number and invoice date in order to verify this) may be returned to base by following these steps:

  1. You complete and submit the RMA Request Form via the link below.
  2. We will validate this request and reply with an RMA Approval Number and address for the goods to be returned to.
  3. You place the RMA Request Form in the box with the item(s) being returned.
  4. You return the authorised item(s) as per shipping instructions below.
  5. Our Repair Centre will process your request.

Shipping Instructions:

  1. Carefully and securely pack items in their original packaging.
  2. Clearly mark your RMA Approval Number on the outside of the box.
  3. Ship only items that are authorised as goods received without an RMA Approval Number will be refused.
  4. Ship to the Wedderburn branch detailed with the RMA Approval Notice.
  5. Return freight is at the cost of the sender.

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled at any time before they are dispatched from our premises after which time you must follow steps outlined in our Returns Policy and any associated costs incurred by us will be to your account. A restocking fee may also apply.


Refunds may be issued at our discretion which is guided by the following criteria;

  1. Faulty Goods – If we determine that goods are faulty, we will provide you the option of replacement or refund.
  2. Wrong Choice – if you have made an incorrect choice when purchasing goods from us, you must complete and submit a RMA Request Form so that we receive it no later than 5 working days after you first receipted the goods. If we determine that the goods are in “as new” condition, we may provide you with a full refund.
  3. Restocking fees may apply and will be confirmed when RMA authorization number is provided.

Important Information

We’ll do our best to ensure your refund / exchange is handled quickly, but it’s important that you follow the instructions above so that there are no delays in processing your refund / exchange. We recommend that returned items are packaged securely and that you use a postage service that provides tracking and delivery to the door.
