eCommerce Pricing

This policy applies solely to prices published by Wedderburn Scales Ltd on 

Prices are published in NZ$ and exclude GST and delivery, both of which are stated separately at checkout.

What does the published price include?

Unless stated otherwise, our published price includes;

Equipment Options

A lot of our equipment can be “up-spec’d” with additional features. For your convenience, features that are frequently requested have been listed against each model, as have spare parts. If they can be ordered on-line, then pricing is also listed to help you weigh up your options.

Equipment Installation, Programming and User Training

Not everyone requires these services, so we don’t automatically include them in our pricing.  We do have a team of very competent people located throughout New Zealand ready to help and can provide a quote upon request.  Simply include details in your enquiry or call 0800 933-932.

Why don’t all items have prices published?

You may notice that not all equipment can be purchased on-line and as such will not have pricing published.  When navigating choices available, these items can be a little tricky to ensure the model selected is fit for purpose. That’s why we offer a free service to help you choose. Please select the “enquire” button or call us for assistance. 

Billing Practices

Our eCommerce Payment facilities are provided by a secure, reputable and approved Payment Gateway. Their privacy policy and security protocols here  We accept payments by approved Credit Cards or via Account to Account transfer.

Customers will be billed immediately upon making a transaction and payments will be reflected on their payment statements as “Wedderburn Scales Ltd Online Purchase” and will include a unique transaction number and total transaction value including GST and any applicable Delivery charges.

We encourage our eCommerce customers to print and retain a copy of their transaction at the time of order confirmation.

Billing Disputes

Each customer agrees to provide Wedderburn 30 days to attempt settlement of any billing dispute before disputing with any third-party credit/debit card company or bank. Wedderburn must be the first option in billing disputes. 

Should Wedderburn receive a chargeback from a third-party credit/debit card company or bank on the customer’s behalf before Wedderburn has been given a chance to resolve the issue, Wedderburn has the right to collect on the rendered goods/services and any fees associated with those disputes. 

Regardless of the outcome of the chargeback, Wedderburn retains the right to collect on any rendered goods/services or fees that are due. Wedderburn will submit any disputed amounts to a collection agency. Once a chargeback has been received, Wedderburn will immediately suspend the account until the matter is resolved.
