How does the Finger Protection System work?
The MADO Finger Protection System (FPS) uses a camera monitored band-stop system to bring the Meat Bandsaw to a standstill within just a few milli-seconds. The bandsaw can be restarted once the sensor area is clear.
What are the benefits of our Finger Protection System?
Releasing blade tension in this manner prevents unnecessary and costly stress on the band which reduces the need for servicing and frequent blade replacement. This saves time and cost.
We've been told that the way our blade stopping safety mechanism activates is considerably quieter than other blade stop systems and this can reduce related Operator stress significantly.
